“Munay” is a Quechua word that signifies love, beauty, and the power of will and desire - a concept rooted in deep harmony and appreciation. It speaks to a love that is both gentle and strong, reflective and intentional.
The Munay Ring captures this spirit, crafted partially from recycled silver and designed with simple, sculptural elegance. Its form reflects the balance between strength and grace, making it a timeless symbol of love - for self, for others, and for the natural world.
Each piece is made using sustainably sourced mother-of-pearl shells collected from the northern coast of Peru, where an ongoing conservation project is working to restore the region’s biodiversity. In partnership with a local NGO, this initiative supports the regeneration of marine ecosystems in Cabo Blanco while providing eco-conscious livelihoods to nearby communities. The mother-of-pearl is carefully selected for its natural luster and character - no two pieces are alike. Handcrafted in limited quantities, these designs honor the beauty of the ocean and the importance of protecting it.
