“Munay” is a Quechua word meaning love, beauty, and the power of will and desire. More than just an expression of affection, Munay reflects a deep, harmonious appreciation - a connection to the essence of all things beautiful and meaningful.
The Munay Necklace embodies this philosophy, crafted from recycled silver and adorned with sustainably ocean-harvested mother-of-pearl. Each piece captures the delicate balance of elegance and intention, making it not just a piece of jewelry but a symbol of love - for nature, for artistry, and for the stories we carry.
Each piece is made using sustainably sourced mother-of-pearl shells collected from the northern coast of Peru, where an ongoing conservation project is working to restore the region’s biodiversity. In partnership with a local NGO, this initiative supports the regeneration of marine ecosystems in Cabo Blanco while providing eco-conscious livelihoods to nearby communities. The mother-of-pearl is carefully selected for its natural luster and character - no two pieces are alike. Handcrafted in limited quantities, these designs honor the beauty of the ocean and the importance of protecting it.
